WriteMath Enterprises offers a variety of kindergarten through 5th grade math centers focusing on topics such as; patterns, shapes, measurement, time, money, calendar, place value, geometry, estimation and fractions and decimals to help your students master difficult topics. All of our math centers support any curriculum your elementary school is currently using.
Each of our Just Turn & Share math centers for kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade has three separate binders. Each binder contains ten weeks worth of practice. The first ten weeks wean students from worksheet, paper and pencil activities to independent center based lessons with hands-on materials. These hands-on activities teach students real world lessons while reinforcing concepts found throughout your current math series such as patterns, shapes, time, money, weight, mass and mathematical terms and measurements.
Along with our hugely popular primary Just Turn & Share math centers we recently published the first book in our new Just Hands-On series. These books will cover a wide variety of topics and will be full of hands-on activities to help your students master the most difficult concepts. Our first book Just Hand-On Place Value is targeted toward 2nd grade students and is full of fun activities to teach this difficult topic.
The 3rd through 5th grade math centers are structured by topic. There are 16 different books within this series. These 16 different topics offer a wealth of additional real-world practice that typically are not adequately covered within the standard math textbooks.
Each center or book provides 30 weeks (4 days per week) of practice on a single math topic and can be easily integrated within your current math lessons. Each center contains all reference sheets and templates needed for the students to complete the problems.
Along with the variety of grade specific centers, we also offer Strand Attack. Strand Attack is a series for 3rd through 5th grade students. These books provide five daily questions that cover the national math standards. There are 30 weeks worth of questions that can easily be used daily either as bell-work or as a brief mini-lesson.
